Lapierre

Bikeroom's Lapierre collection covers road bikes and mountain bikes from this French brand with WorldTour credibility. On the road side, the Xelius SL is the flagship carbon race platform, while the Pulsium covers endurance riding. On the MTB side, Lapierre is best known for the Spicy enduro platform and the Zesty trail range. E-MTB models under the Overvolt and Neox lines also appear in the collection. Lapierre frames are well built across the road and MTB ranges. Their carbon construction has benefited from collaboration with French aerospace composite expertise, and their ride quality is respected within the European peloton. On road models, check the bottom bracket standard and verify cable routing condition on older internally-routed frames. On MTB models, Lapierre's OST+ suspension design is proven and durable, but pivot bearings require regular replacement as with any full-suspension platform.
