Scott Foil RC 2024

Made with the Pros. Together since 2021, Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL has been an integral part of the development of the brand-new Foil RC, a no-shortcuts road bike that embodies aerodynamics, lightness, and comfort. The riders first used it in 2022. Since then, the Dutch team has achieved numerous successes in various Grand Tour stage victories, including the standout achievement of securing the first yellow jerseys at the 2024 Tour de France in both the men’s and women's fields with Romain Bardet and Charlotte Kool.

The Scott Foil RC 2024 is the perfect road bike for those who value pure speed above all else. Whatever the goal may be, riding the Foil RC turns every dream into reality. Faster, lighter, and even more aerodynamic than its predecessor, the new Scott Foil RC 2024 boasts a sleek and captivating design with its new white colorway, a carbon fiber frame, and the Syncros Creston iC SL Aero handlebar (featured on all stock models).

Scott Foil RC 2024: Bike Set-Up Overview

Bike set-up. The Scott Foil RC road bikes available on bike-room.com in 2024 were configured as follows:

Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed*
Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed*

*All models were equipped with brand-new components (wheels, tires, cranksets, cassettes, and discs), installed directly in Bikeroom workshops.

Additionally, all Scott Foil RC 2024 road bikes were fitted with Shimano WH-RS710 C46 wheels and Vittoria Corsa G2.0 TLR tires. One specific model featured a “replica” setup with Shimano Dura-Ace C60 tubular wheels.

Scott Foil RC 2023

After their overwhelming success, the Scott Foil RC 2023 bikes (used by the DSM-Firmenich PostNL World Tour Team) made a return to Bikeroom’s restock in 2024. These lightweight, comfortable road bikes were designed to minimize aerodynamic drag, shaving off an impressive 1 minute and 18 seconds at 40 km/h. Thanks to the perfect balance of stiffness and weight, the Foil RC 2023 also excels on descents, unleashing its full potential.

Scott Plasma TT 2023

Designed to win against the time. The 2023 also marked a breakthrough for the Scott Plasma TT, a time-trial bike engineered to dominate the clock. Based on the 2022 triathlon model—already fast but not UCI-compliant—this updated version has become the lightest and fastest time-trial bike in Scott's history, enhancing stability at high speeds and introducing a high-end disc braking system.This upgrade improved comfort and allowed athletes to maintain their time trial position longer without compromising the integrated and versatile setup.

With the same power output, the Plasma TT 2023 delivers over 30 seconds of savings on a 40 km time trial compared to its predecessor, all while providing unmatched comfort and enabling athletes to maintain the optimal aero position for longer durations. Indeed, one of the standout features of the new Plasma TT 2023 is its ability to minimize aerodynamic drag when riding solo against the wind, one of the most challenging scenarios in time trials and long-distance triathlons.

Scott Plasma TT 2023 was a true triumph for Bikeroom as well, with these models selling out in record time!
