On a pre-owned frameset, inspect the carbon around the head tube, bottom bracket, seatstays and dropouts for cracks or impact marks, and check the frame threads, derailleur hanger and any integrated cockpit or seatpost. Confirm the frame size, the bottom bracket and headset standards and the cable routing, so your groupset and cockpit will fit.
