Wilier Gravel Bike Size Guide: Find Your Fit by Height and Reach

Wilier Gravel Bike Size Guide: Find Your Fit by Height and Reach

Sizing a Wilier gravel bike

Wilier's gravel range covers three quite different fits, so the model choice matters as much as the size. The Rave SLR is the gravel racer with a fairly conventional, road like position, the Adlar is the long and slack adventure and bikepacking bike, and the Jena is the comfortable, versatile all road all rounder. Wilier does not publish rider height charts for gravel, so the height bands here are our estimates from geometry, and the surest approach is to match reach to a bike you already ride.

Please note. These sizes are a starting point, not a guarantee. Wilier publishes no official gravel height chart, so the height ranges are our best estimates from stack, reach and seat tube; the reach figures themselves are official. A fit check settles any doubt.

Quick size finder

Find your height, cross check your inside leg, and read across. Only the Rave SLR offers an XXL; the Adlar and Jena run XS to XL.

Rider height Leg length (inseam) Rave SLR (race) Adlar (adventure) Jena (all road)
158 to 167 cm 73 to 78 cm XS XS XS
166 to 174 cm 77 to 82 cm S S S
172 to 180 cm 81 to 86 cm M M M
178 to 186 cm 85 to 90 cm L L L
184 to 192 cm 89 to 94 cm XL XL XL
190 to 198 cm 93 to 98 cm XXL (XL max) (XL max)

Only the Rave SLR accommodates the tallest riders with a dedicated XXL. For the same size, the Adlar sits longest in reach, the Jena tallest relative to reach, and the Rave lowest and racier.

How to measure yourself

Height. Stand barefoot against a wall, heels together, and measure to the top of your head.

Leg length (inseam). Barefoot, feet about 15 cm apart, press a book up to the wall like a saddle and measure floor to spine.

The reliable check. With no official height chart, match the reach below to a bike you get on well. On the Adlar especially, size on reach rather than height.

Rave SLR (gravel race)

The Rave SLR is the aero gravel racer, and its fit is fairly traditional: a longer top tube with a normal stem rather than the modern long reach, short stem trend. Pick your usual road size; do not size down expecting a slammed gravel position. 700c only, 1x only, with an integrated cockpit. Available in 6 sizes: XS to XXL.

Frame size XS S M L XL XXL
Stack (mm) 532 546 561 579 597 617
Reach (mm) 375 381 387 393 400 408
Rider height 158 to 167 166 to 174 172 to 180 178 to 186 184 to 192 190 to 198

The integrated F-Bar cockpit is a fit limitation with restricted adjustability, so choose the size whose cockpit suits you.

Adlar (adventure and bikepacking)

The Adlar is the long, slack, MTB influenced adventurer, with a much longer reach and a 70 degree head angle for stable, loaded touring, designed around short stems. Size on reach, and comfort riders can drop a size. Available in 5 sizes: XS to XL.

Frame size XS S M L XL
Stack (mm) 538 562 586 610 634
Reach (mm) 395 404 413 422 431
Rider height 160 to 169 167 to 175 173 to 181 180 to 188 187 to 196

Note how much longer the reach runs than the Rave, balanced by the short stem it ships with. Keep that stem, since a longer one breaks the intended handling.

Jena (all road)

The Jena is the comfort focused all rounder, taller in stack and shorter in reach than the Rave, relaxed but still athletic, and it takes both 700c and 650b wheels. A tall head tube and sloping top tube aid standover. Available in 5 sizes: XS to XL.

Frame size XS S M L XL
Stack (mm) 531 556 582 608 633
Reach (mm) 363 372 382 391 401
Rider height 158 to 167 166 to 174 172 to 180 178 to 186 185 to 194

What Wilier riders find

The Rave SLR is reported as a fairly conventional, road race like fit rather than a progressive long and low gravel bike, so riders should take their normal road size and not size down expecting a slammed position; reviewers flag the integrated F-Bar cockpit as the main fit constraint, and the bike is 700c and 1x only. The Adlar has a pronounced long reach and slack head angle for a stable, planted, MTB like feel built around short stems and full luggage, so size it on reach and let comfort seekers drop a size. The Jena is liked for comfort and versatility across 700c and 650b, with a tall head tube helping less flexible or taller riders, and it sizes fairly true. Across the range, matching reach to a known bike is the reliable method since Wilier publishes no gravel height chart.

Between two sizes?

On the Rave, hold your normal road size. On the Adlar, size by reach and drop a size for comfort. On the Jena, stay in your height bracket. Send us your height, inside leg and the reach of a bike you like and we will confirm.
