The role
We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Controller capable of monitoring the company's economic performance. The candidate will work closely with various company departments and external partners to ensure timely management of accounting and corporate management control.
Responsabilities
- Manage and restructure the corporate control system
- Coordinate daily activities for maintaining the accounting and management structure
- Analyze the company's balance sheet starting from analytical accounting
- Ensure accurate accounting of management transactions to draft a financial statement aligned with corporate management
- Analyze accounting and management data to obtain a monthly financial performance overview (income statement, management income statement, balance sheet)
- Update the cash monitoring model and respective forecast on a monthly basis
- Conduct monthly variance analysis between actual results and budget, and main KPIs to identify causes and suggest strategies for optimizing company activities
- Prepare detailed financial reporting for all stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Identify and suggest improvements for systems and processes
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a controller or in similar positions
- Excellent skills in managing analytical accounting and analyzing financial statements and management data
- Competence in reading account ledgers and coordinating with industry professionals (e.g., accountants)
- Ability to draft a financial statement from accounting and management data
- Skills in analyzing variances between actual results and budget
- Ability to set up financial reports
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage responsibilities
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
