Bianchi MTB Size Guide

Bianchi MTB Size Guide

Bianchi mountain bike sizing

Bianchi's current mountain range is focused and simple. The Magma is the alloy cross country hardtail, while the T-Tronik X and E-Vertic FX cover the electric side, one a do it all sport e hardtail and the other a slack, playful trail e bike. On a mountain bike the size label matters less than reach and how you like to ride, so read the numbers together with your height. As a rule, sizing down gives a shorter, more playful and flickable feel, while sizing up adds stability at speed. Explore what is in stock on our Bianchi collection.

Please note. These recommendations are indicative and a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Body proportions, flexibility and terrain all shift the answer, and Bianchi does not publish per size rider height charts for its mountain bikes, so the height bands here are our estimates. Confirm against the exact bike before you buy.

Quick size finder

Rider height Leg length (inseam) Magma (XC hardtail) T-Tronik X (e-hardtail) E-Vertic FX (e-trail)
155 to 165 cm 68 to 73 cm 38 S S
165 to 173 cm 73 to 78 cm 43 S S
173 to 181 cm 78 to 83 cm 48 M M
181 to 189 cm 83 to 88 cm 53 L L
189 to 198 cm 88 to 93 cm XL XL

How to measure yourself

Height. Stand barefoot against a wall with heels together and your back straight. Mark the top of your head and measure straight down to the floor.

Leg length (inseam). Barefoot, feet about 15 cm apart, press a hardback book spine up into your crotch as a saddle would sit. Measure from the top of the book to the floor. On a mountain bike your inseam matters for standover clearance and confident footing when you stop.

Bianchi Magma

The Magma is an approachable alloy cross country hardtail with a relaxed, forgiving position rather than a slammed race stance. It uses Bianchi's numeric frame sizes rather than S to XL.

Size Reach (mm) Stack (mm) Rider height
38 389 570 155 to 167 cm
43 403 590 165 to 175 cm
48 425 615 173 to 183 cm
53 442 635 181 to 192 cm

Fit character: upright and forgiving, an easy going XC hardtail.

Bianchi T-Tronik X

The T-Tronik X is a sport electric hardtail with a comfortable, stable position for paths, dirt and light singletrack.

Size Reach (mm) Stack (mm) Rider height
S 415 591 160 to 172 cm
M 435 615 170 to 180 cm
L 455 638 178 to 188 cm
XL 475 662 186 to 198 cm

Fit character: comfortable and stable, a versatile light trail e bike.

Bianchi E-Vertic FX

The E-Vertic FX is the slack, roomy trail e bike of the range, built to descend with confidence and stay planted at speed.

Size Reach (mm) Stack (mm) Rider height
S 445 589 160 to 172 cm
M 467 611 170 to 180 cm
L 490 636 178 to 189 cm
XL 510 659 187 to 198 cm

Fit character: slack and playful, a confident modern trail descender.

What Bianchi riders find

Reviewers describe the E-Vertic FX as light, snappy and genuinely fun, with the slack head angle boosting confidence on descents, and the T-Tronik X as an easy going companion for mixed terrain that gains agility from the dropper post fitted on larger sizes. The Magma is valued as a comfortable, budget friendly first mountain bike rather than a race weapon. Across the range the position runs true to the reach figures, so use reach as your main guide.

Between two sizes?

On a mountain bike your choice at a size boundary shapes the ride. Size down for a shorter reach that feels more playful, flickable and easy to throw around, which suits tighter, technical trails. Size up for a longer, more stable cockpit that stays calm at speed and on steep descents. Comparing reach and stack with a bike you already ride is the most reliable way to decide.

Figures are taken from official Bianchi geometry where possible. Rider height and inseam bands are indicative estimates, not official Bianchi numbers. This guide covers Bianchi's current mountain range; the older carbon Methanol and Nitron cross country models are no longer in the current lineup and are not included. Always confirm geometry against the exact bike and model year before buying.
