How to measure yourself
Height. Stand barefoot with your back and heels against a wall, look straight ahead, and mark the top of your head. Measure from the floor to the mark, and do it twice for a reliable figure.
Leg length (inseam). Stand barefoot with your feet about 15 cm apart and place a book spine-up between your legs, pulled firmly against your body as a saddle would sit. Measure from the floor to the top edge of the book. That number is your inseam, and it is the most honest guide to frame size because two riders of the same height can have very different leg lengths.
Merak
The Merak is De Rosa's thoroughbred race bike, a compact frame with steep angles and a short wheelbase that handles quick and direct. It leans flat-out and fast rather than upright and stable.
