Cinelli Gravel Size Guide: King Zydeco II, Nemo Tig Gravel

Cinelli Gravel Size Guide: King Zydeco II, Nemo Tig Gravel

Sizing a Cinelli gravel bike

Cinelli's current gravel range splits neatly in two. The King Zydeco II is the carbon race platform, light and quick with a lower, longer riding position built for fast mixed surface days. The Nemo Tig Gravel is the TIG welded steel option, still quick and road like in feel but a touch more upright and famous for its lively ride. The single most useful thing to know is that Cinelli labels its frames by seat tube figure, so a King Zydeco II 45 to 50 and a Nemo 48 to 61 look like very different numbers yet cover broadly the same riders. Ignore the label and size by your height, your reach and your stack instead.

Please note. These sizes are a starting point, not a guarantee. Reach, stack and riding style matter more than height alone, and cockpit choice shifts the fit. Treat the tables below as indicative and confirm against the exact bike and model year before you buy.

Quick size finder

Find your height, then read across. Where a band sits between two sizes, use the per model tables and the fit notes further down to decide.

Rider height Leg length (inseam) King Zydeco II (carbon race) Nemo Tig Gravel (steel)

How to measure yourself

Height. Stand barefoot with your heels, back and head against a wall, look straight ahead, and mark the wall level with the top of your head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

Leg length (inseam). Barefoot, feet about 15 cm apart, press a book up into your crotch as if it were a saddle, hold it level against the wall, and measure from the top edge of the book down to the floor. This drives saddle height and helps confirm standover.

King Zydeco II

Cinelli's fast gravel carbon frame, offered in five sizes from XS to XL. The King Zydeco II keeps the race proven geometry of the original while adding the new XS and a more linear stack and reach progression, so the fit steps are smoother across the range. Expect a low, stretched, road inspired position.

Size Reach (mm) Stack (mm) Rider height
XS (45) 366* 534* 160 to 170 cm
S (46) 377 549 168 to 176 cm
M (47) 388 563 174 to 182 cm
L (48) 397 579 180 to 188 cm
XL (50) 408 600 186 to 196 cm

* XS reach and stack are Bikeroom estimates extrapolated from the published S to XL progression, as Cinelli does not yet list machine readable figures for the new XS. Rider height bands are indicative.

Fit character: racy and reactive, a low and long fast gravel bike that rewards riders chasing pace.

Nemo Tig Gravel

The steel TIG welded gravel bike, offered in six sizes from XS to XXL. Its geometry is quick and road like for a steel frame, pairing a lively feel with the wide size span that suits both smaller and taller riders. Positions run a little taller than the King Zydeco II at a comparable reach.

Size Reach (mm) Stack (mm) Rider height
XS (48) 373 508 157 to 168 cm
S (51) 380 522 163 to 175 cm
M (54) 382 550 168 to 180 cm
L (56) 387 563 175 to 188 cm
XL (59) 400 587 183 to 193 cm
XXL (61) 400 613 185 to 196 cm

Fit character: quick and characterful, a road like steel gravel bike that stays composed while feeling alive underneath you.

What Cinelli riders find

Reviewers and owners describe the King Zydeco as a genuinely fast, race leaning gravel bike with sharp, confident handling, praised as a strong all rounder that punches above its price, with the main critique aimed at braking feel on some builds rather than the fit. The Nemo Tig Gravel draws praise for its steel ride quality and quick, almost road bike manners, a bike that feels planted yet playful. Across both, the theme is the same: Cinelli gravel frames sit toward the sporty end, so if you want a relaxed upright touring position you will likely size for stack and raise the front rather than expect it from the geometry.

Between two sizes?

Compare reach first, since that sets how stretched you feel, then check stack for how high the front sits. On the King Zydeco II, sizing down keeps the bike sharp and agile for racing, while sizing up adds stability and comfort for long days. On the Nemo, note the tighter reach steps between the middle sizes, so a rider on the cusp can often stay on the shorter size and adjust with stem length. If your inseam is long for your height, lean to the larger size; if your reach is short or you value quick handling, take the smaller one.

These sizes are guidance, not a fitting guarantee. Stack and reach for the King Zydeco II sizes S to XL and for every Nemo Tig Gravel size are official Cinelli data; the King Zydeco II XS figures are Bikeroom estimates, and all rider height bands are indicative. Cinelli does not publish per size rider height ranges for the King Zydeco II, so those bands are our own guidance. Always confirm against the exact bike and model year, and where possible against a professional bike fit.
