Finding your size on a Lapierre gravel bike
Lapierre builds its gravel bikes around one carbon platform, the Crosshill CF, sold across trims from the 5.0 up to the 8.0 S. They all share the same frame and geometry, so sizing is refreshingly simple: pick the size, then choose the build. The key insight is that the Crosshill is a performance gravel bike with an endurance lean. The front end sits fairly tall and the reach is on the shorter side, so it favours long, comfortable days over an aggressive race crouch. Reach climbs gently across the range, so the jump between sizes is modest. If you sit between two rows, your reach preference and inseam should guide the choice.
How to measure yourself
Height. Stand against a wall without shoes, heels together, and mark the top of your head. Measure straight down to the floor.
Leg length (inseam). With your back to the wall, place a hardback book spine up between your legs and pull it firmly against your body, as a saddle would sit. Mark the top edge on the wall and measure down to the floor. Inseam is the best guide to standover clearance, which matters on rough ground where you may need to dab a foot quickly.
Crosshill CF
Lapierre's carbon performance gravel frame. Flex tuned seatstays damp vibration, the seat angle is fairly steep for efficient pedalling, and there is clearance for tyres up to 45 mm. Handlebar width and stem length scale with size, so the cockpit is matched to the frame out of the box.

What Lapierre riders find
Testers describe the Crosshill CF position as neither too stretched nor too compact, with a relatively high front end from the riser bar and a low saddle to bar drop that stays comfortable on long rides without feeling sluggish. The flex seatstays win praise for taking the edge off rough surfaces, and the handling is called direct and confident on descents. Owners place it between race gravel and bikepacking: a fast, comfortable bike for big days rather than a slack, off road focused machine. Worth knowing: Lapierre's Prorace is a cross country mountain bike, not a gravel model, so the Crosshill is the gravel bike to size around.
Between two sizes?
If your height falls between two rows, think about how you ride. Choose the smaller size for a more compact, nimble feel and easier standover on technical ground. Choose the larger size for a longer, more stable cockpit on fast, open gravel and long tours.
