Cervéo covers the main road lines — the S-Series aero road bikes, the R-Series climbing frames, and the C-Series endurance geometry. Cervélo has a long history of WorldTour victories and their bikes appear regularly on the pre-owned market in good condition. Builds span Shimano 105 through to Dura-Ace Di2, covering disc and rim brake options across model years. Both new and pre-owned stock is listed when available.
Is a pre-owned Cervélo worth buying?
Cervélo frames are engineered to consistent standards across the range. Carbon on models from the last five to six years — S3, S5, R5 — remains competitive in stiffness and weight. On older disc models, check the thru-axle standard, as Cervelo made several changes before settling on current spec. Verify the front derailleur hanger is intact on rim brake builds. Pre-owned Cervélos tend to be well maintained, reflecting the performance-focused riders who typically own them.
Which Cervélo model should I look for second-hand?
It depends on your riding. The S5 is Cervéo's aero flagship — the right choice for flat sportives or criterium-style riding. The R5 is a climbing frame, lighter and more direct, suited to mountain days. The Caledonia offers endurance geometry, more relaxed but still race-ready. For second-hand buyers, the R5 and S5 in Di2 disc spec from 2019 onwards offer the strongest combination of current-standard compatibility and outright performance.
