Sizing a Cinelli, the connoisseur's way
Cinelli is a small, characterful Milanese marque, and its road range reflects that: a mix of carbon race machines and hand built steel, each with its own personality rather than a corporate size grid. Cinelli does not publish rider height charts, and it openly invites you to send your height and inseam for a personal recommendation. So the sensible approach with these bikes is to treat height as a rough guide and let stack and reach, which we have gathered below, do the real talking. Owners tend to find Cinelli reach fairly traditional, neither stretched nor stubby.

An honest note. Because Cinelli publishes no official height ranges, the heights below are our estimates from each bike's geometry. Take them as a first pass, compare stack and reach with a bike that already fits you, and confirm with a fit or with us before buying.
Size at a glance
Letter sizes across the range, with the steel Nemo Tig Road reaching to XXL. Find your height, sanity check with inseam, and read across. Then read the model notes, because a carbon Pressure and a steel Nemo are quite different rides at the same letter.
| Rider height | Leg length (inseam) | Pressure 2 (race) | Pressure ADR (endurance) | Nemo Tig Road (steel) | Superstar (all round) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 156 to 164 cm | 71 to 76 cm | XS | XS | XS | XS |
| 164 to 171 cm | 75 to 80 cm | S | S | S | S |
| 170 to 178 cm | 79 to 84 cm | M | M | M | M |
| 177 to 186 cm | 83 to 89 cm | L | L | L | L |
| 185 to 193 cm | 88 to 93 cm | XL | XL | XL | XL |
| 193 cm and up | 93 cm and up | XL (max) | XL (max) | XXL | XL (max) |
Only the steel Nemo Tig Road offers an XXL, making it the pick for very tall riders in the range.
How to measure
For height, stand barefoot to a wall and measure to the top of your head. For inseam, press a book up between your legs against the wall as if it were the saddle and measure to the spine. With Cinelli it is worth going one step further and noting the stack and reach of a bike you love, because that comparison is far more reliable than any height band on a brand that does not publish one.
The current road bikes
Pressure 2 (carbon race)
The Pressure 2 is the compact carbon racer, a low and long, sharp handling bike built to be thrown around. Its stack to reach sits firmly in race territory. Sizes: XS, S, M, L and XL.
| Frame size | XS | S | M | L | XL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stack (mm) | 512 | 528 | 539 | 560 | 581 |
| Reach (mm) | 366 | 374 | 385 | 394 | 403 |
| Rider height | 157 to 165 | 164 to 172 | 170 to 178 | 177 to 186 | 185 to 195 |
A bike that wants to be ridden hard. Reviewers often say the frame is held back only by heavy stock wheels, so a wheel upgrade transforms it.
Pressure ADR (endurance and all road)
The Pressure ADR takes the Pressure and adds a little stack, a touch less reach and more tyre room, landing at the racy end of endurance rather than full comfort. Sizes: XS, S, M, L and XL.
| Frame size | XS | S | M | L | XL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stack (mm) | 512 | 524 | 540 | 560 | 583 |
| Reach (mm) | 372 | 382 | 389 | 395 | 403 |
| Rider height | 156 to 164 | 163 to 171 | 170 to 178 | 177 to 186 | 185 to 195 |
Close in numbers to the Pressure 2, trading a few millimetres of reach for a bit more stack and comfort. A racer that will happily go long.
Nemo Tig Road (steel race)
The Nemo Tig Road is the steel connoisseur's choice, a carbon style race position with the smoothness and communication of steel. It is lively and demands attention rather than cosseting you, and it has the widest size run in the range. Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL.
| Frame size | XS | S | M | L | XL | XXL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stack (mm) | 510 | 520 | 547 | 564 | 587 | 643 |
| Reach (mm) | 369 | 371 | 373 | 383 | 395 | 397 |
| Rider height | 156 to 165 | 166 to 171 | 172 to 178 | 179 to 186 | 187 to 193 | 193 and up |
Tyre clearance is modest, around 28 mm, so you cannot add much extra comfort with rubber. The XXL stack figure is unusually tall and worth confirming on a current frameset sheet before buying.
Superstar (all round carbon)
The Superstar is the accessible carbon all rounder, endurance leaning but far from sleepy, and a genuine dark horse that owners say punches above its price. Comfortable all day, still happy to be raced. Sizes: XS, S, M, L and XL.
| Frame size | XS | S | M | L | XL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stack (mm) | 509 | 522 | 548 | 564 | 590 |
| Reach (mm) | 373 | 383 | 387 | 393 | 399 |
| Rider height | 157 to 163 | 165 to 170 | 173 to 178 | 180 to 185 | 188 to 196 |
Higher and shorter at the front than the Pressure, so it is the easy all day pick. Recent years have narrowed availability toward the larger sizes, so check current stock.
What Cinelli riders say
Cinelli attracts riders who care about character, and the feedback reflects that. The Nemo Tig is called a pure steel dream, engaging and communicative rather than relaxing, best paired with an inline post for taller riders. The Pressure and Pressure 2 are described as racy and purposeful, with the recurring caveat that stock wheels hold them back and an upgrade wakes them up. The Superstar surprises people, praised for climbing and directness that shames pricier bikes. On sizing, riders note Cinelli uses fairly traditional reach and sometimes suggest sizing up a touch versus other brands, which is exactly why comparing stack and reach, or simply asking, beats guessing.
Between two sizes?
Go smaller for a tighter, racier position or larger for comfort and a taller front. Given there is no official height chart, the surest route is to match the stack and reach of a bike you already get on with. Send us those numbers and we will find the closest Cinelli.

Not sure which size? Ask our concierge
Cinelli itself recommends a personal sizing chat, and so do we. Send our concierge team your height, inseam and ideally the stack and reach of your current bike, and we will match you to the right Cinelli. Talk to our concierge.
These are good faith estimates, not a fitting guarantee. Cinelli publishes no official rider height chart, so the height ranges are derived from each bike's geometry, and some figures, notably the Nemo Tig Road XXL stack, should be verified against a current spec sheet. Always confirm against the specific bike you are buying.
