Bikeroom announced the successful conclusion of its exclusive auction of the Colnago V5Rs race bike ridden by Tadej Pogačar during the 2025 Ardennes Classics. For three times, the auction saw a bid in the final hours before the close and was therefore extended. The auction closed on 14th May 2026 at 12:00 pm on bike-room.com, with a final sale price of €70,000 — double the €30,000 opening bid.
The result marks a milestone for the platform and for the secondary market in pro-race cycling, demonstrating significant collector demand for authenticated race artefacts at the highest level of the sport.

The campaign, conceived around a museum and fine-art framing, positioned the bike as a masterpiece rather than a race bike. Bikeroom mechanics restored the V5Rs to its post-race standard, and former professional rider and media personality Matt Stephens joined the project as art critic, filming at the iconic Museo del Ghisallo to provide an authoritative narrative around the piece and its rider.
"The result speaks for itself. This is what Bikeroom was built for — to be the place where the most important bikes in the world find their next home, authenticated and trusted. Reaching €60,000 on our platform validates the model and the collector appetite for bikes ridden at the highest level of the sport."— Matteo Maruzzi & Denis Moretti, Founders, Bikeroom
