Basso Road, Gravel, and Electric Bikes For Sale
Basso has been building bikes in Vicenza since 1977. Alcide Basso started the brand with his brothers — one of them, Marino, was the 1972 road world champion — and every carbon frame is still hand-built at their facility in Dueville, Italy. The brand has never moved production offshore.
The road range runs from the Diamante, a climbing-focused bike, through the SV — Sempre Veloce — which is the current flagship: a 780g frame with a 16% reduction in frontal area over the previous generation. The Astra covers the all-road and mixed-surface side, and the Palta handles grave. The Volta rounds it out as the electric option.
