Sizing a Winspace road bike
Winspace builds two very different road frames at the sharp end of its range: the T1550 Gen 2, a UCI approved aero race bike, and the Agile, a lighter all rounder that trades a little aero for comfort over long days. Both run a racy, low front end, so the single most useful thing to know is this: size a Winspace by stack and reach, not by the seat tube number on the size tab. Riders coming off a mainstream endurance bike often find the equivalent Winspace size sits them lower and longer, so if you want a more upright position, plan to run more spacers or consider sizing up. How to measure yourself
Height. Stand barefoot with your back to a wall, heels together and head level. Mark the top of your head, then measure straight down to the floor. Do it in the evening if you can, as you are marginally shorter later in the day.
Leg length (inseam). Barefoot, feet about 15 cm apart, press a hardback book up into your crotch as if it were a saddle and hold it level against the wall. Measure from the top edge of the book down to the floor. This inseam number drives standover and saddle height, and is often more telling than height alone.
T1550 Gen 2 (aero race)
The T1550 Gen 2 is Winspace's flagship aero race frame: a one piece T1000 and T800 carbon layup, T47 bottom bracket and a low, long riding position built for speed. Gen 2 nudged the stack to reach ratio up slightly over the original to cut fatigue, but this is still an aggressive fit. Available in 5 sizes, XS to XL. Agile (lightweight all rounder)
The Agile sits between the aero T1550 and Winspace's ultralight climbing frames: T800 and T1000 carbon, a claimed sub 850 g frame in medium, T47 bottom bracket and an aero seatpost. Owners describe it as an eager, comfortable do it all bike that stays fresh over four to five hour rides, with a position that is sporty but a touch more forgiving than the T1550. Available in 5 sizes, XS to XL. What Winspace riders find
The recurring theme from owners is value and comfort. The Agile in particular draws praise for feeling eager and staying comfortable over long rides, though some note the published geometry looks inconsistent between sizes and that it is a little less settled in strong crosswinds than a deeper aero frame. The T1550 Gen 2 is the choice for riders who want an out and out race position and a clear turn of speed. Because Winspace is a direct to consumer brand, most feedback comes from owner reviews and forums rather than a large press fleet, so lean on stack and reach and your own current bike numbers when choosing.
Between two sizes?
Match the reach of your current bike first, then check the stack. If you like a racy, stretched position or you are at the top of a height band, take the smaller size and add a longer stem. If you want more comfort, more spacers under the bars, or you are between bands with a longer inseam, size up. Given how aggressive both Winspace frames run, riders wanting an endurance feel should lean towards the larger size.
