Sizing a Haibike

Haibike is an e-MTB specialist, and its current mountain range is entirely electric. Sizing is by rider height and reach across four sizes, S to XL, with one height chart for the full suspension models. Two model specific tips do most of the work here. The race oriented Hybe runs small, so most riders size up. And the AllMtn sits low at the front, so taller or less confident riders often add a rise bar or spacers. Everything except the light Lyke rolls on a mullet wheel setup, 29 front and 27.5 rear.

Quick note. These sizes are a starting point, not a guarantee. Reach preference and riding style matter on an e-MTB, the height bands overlap, and a test ride or fit settles it. One model, the Alltrack hardtail, has no published reach, so size it by height.

Your Haibike size by height

Find your height for the baseline size, which holds across the full suspension range; the model tables give the reach so you can decide where the bands overlap.

The one exception is the Hybe, which runs small, so lean toward the larger size on that model.

How to choose your size

Take your height barefoot, then use reach to fine tune against a bike you like. On the AllMtn, factor in whether you will want a rise bar for the low front end. All models here are mullet except the full 29 Lyke, and long legged riders should note the Hybe's long seat tubes and short droppers.

Lightweight and all mountain

The Lyke is the light, Fazua powered e-XC and downcountry bike that rides like a normal bike, and the AllMtn the modern, long and slack all mountain e-MTB. The AllMtn is agile but low at the front, so taller riders often raise the bars.

Enduro and trail race

The Nduro is the heavy hitting enduro and freeride e-MTB, very stable and planted, and the Hybe a race oriented trail e-MTB that runs small with an upright, comfortable position. Size the Hybe up.

Hardtail

The Alltrack is the entry, upright trail hardtail, with the small size on 27.5 wheels and the rest on 29. Haibike does not publish its reach, so size it by rider height using the chart above, or ask us to check a specific bike.

What Haibike riders find

The clearest signals are model specific. The Hybe runs small and is best sized up, and its long seat tubes and short droppers frustrate long legged riders, so check standover and post length. The AllMtn is fun and agile thanks to short chainstays, but the low front pushes some riders forward, so a rise bar or spacers is a common fix, and its dropper is a touch short for the reach on offer. The Lyke gets praise for a natural, playful, true to chart fit, and the Nduro for rock solid stability at the cost of being heavy and less playful. The Alltrack is a friendly, height sized entry hardtail, with the only caveat being the missing reach data.

Between two sizes?

Go smaller for agility and playfulness, larger for reach and stability, and on the Hybe lean larger. If dropper room or standover is tight on your inside leg, that can decide it, so tell us your height and inside leg and we will confirm the fit.
