Summary

What changed
Until this month the Dogma XC was one bike with one job. It is now a platform with three names. The bike that raced World Cups keeps its frame and gains an R. The new XCT takes the same chassis and builds it for riders out for four hours rather than eighty minutes. The XC Series keeps the shapes and changes the carbon, which is how the entry price falls to €6,500.
Off-road.cc reported the range on 17 September 2026. The pricing below is consistent across off-road.cc, Bikerumor and cyclonline.
Dogma XCR: the race bike, renamed
The XCR is the cross country race bike with a new paint scheme and a component update. It runs the top RockShox SID fork at 120 mm with the full Flight Attendant package, and a SidLuxe shock on the same system. The rest is SRAM XX SL with a power meter, DT Swiss XCR1200 wheels and Vittoria Mezcal Race tyres in 2.4 inch. A RockShox Reverb AXS dropper is fitted, with up to 150 mm of drop by frame size, per off-road.cc.
Flight Attendant is the point of difference. The suspension reads the terrain and the rider's input and sets itself. That removes the lockout lever from a race where nobody has a spare hand, and it is most of the reason the XCR costs €1,500 more than the XCT.
Dogma XCT: marathon and downcountry
The XCT is not a new frame. Bikerumor reports that the XCR and XCT share the same chassis, with the same 120 mm fork travel, and that the XCT differs through slightly burlier components, a taller stack and a shorter stem. Rear travel on the platform is 100 mm, adjustable to 90 mm with a different stroke shock.
What that produces is a bike with the same numbers under it and a different body position on top. The build reinforces the shift. A Fox 34 SL Factory fork replaces the lighter SID, with a Fox Float Factory shock, Shimano XTR Di2, a Fox Transfer dropper and Maxxis Rekon tyres in 2.4 inch.
The Rekon is the clearest signal. It is a trail leaning tyre next to the Mezcal Race, with more tread and more casing. Pinarello is saying the XCT rider will be on the brakes into rougher corners, further from a feed zone.
The XCT is for marathon and downcountry racers, and for riders who want this chassis in a position they can hold for six hours.

Wheels are DT Swiss XCR1200 on the XCR, XCT and XCR9, and XR1700 on the XCT9 and XCT7. Sterling prices run from £13,000 to £6,000, per off-road.cc.
What the T900 frame gives up
TorayCa T900 is a lower modulus fibre than the grade used on the two flagships. In practice that usually means a heavier frame for the same stiffness, or a less stiff frame for the same weight. Pinarello has not published frame weights for either tier, so the size of the penalty is not knowable.
The rest of the gap is visible and easy to price. The XCT7 at €6,500 has a RockShox SID 35 Base fork and a mechanical SRAM Eagle 90 transmission where the XCR has Flight Attendant and SRAM XX SL. Those are the parts you would replace first, and the frame is the part you cannot. For a rider who wants the shapes and the fit without automatic suspension, the XCR9 at €8,700 is the sensible reading of this range.
Race record
The Dogma XC has a real one. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot won the Olympic cross country title at Elancourt Hill on 28 July 2024 on a Dogma XC hardtail, by 2 minutes 57 seconds, per MBR and olympics.com. She had asked Pinarello for a hardtail version specifically for that course.
Tom Pidcock won the elite men's cross country world title at Val di Sole in 2026 on a Dogma XC, 17 seconds clear of Charlie Aldridge, per Cyclingnews and Bikerumor. Bicycle Retailer reported in 2023 that the bike was developed from autumn 2022 with Pidcock, Ferrand-Prévot and the Ineos Grenadiers technical team.
One note for accuracy. Ferrand-Prévot said she would leave mountain biking after the 2024 season for the road, per MBR. We could not confirm which Ineos Grenadiers rider races the Dogma XC in 2026.
What is not published
No frame weights and no complete bike weights, for any model in the range. No separate geometry chart for the XCT, which matters because the taller stack and shorter stem are the whole argument for it. Cyclonline reports the platform at 67.5 to 68 degrees of head angle and about 75 degrees of effective seat angle, and states that the models share one frame and one geometry.
The coverage also disagrees on the carbon. Pinkbike and cyclonline call the flagship frame TorayCa M40J, while off-road.cc lists the XCT frame as M30J. Treat the grade as unconfirmed.
XCT, XCR, or a pre-owned first generation Dogma XC
If you race XCO and want the suspension to think for you, the XCR is the bike, and the price reflects it. If your season is marathons and long downcountry events, the XCT gives the same frame in a position that lasts longer.
If you mostly want the frame, the first generation Dogma XC is now the interesting object. It reached shops in March 2024, and it is the same platform the XCR is built on. A pre-owned example makes sense if you accept manual suspension. Check three things: frame size against the new range, shock and fork service history, and whether the dropper and cockpit are the ones you want to keep.
