Ghost mountain bike sizing: Lector, Kato, Riot and E-Riot
Ghost covers the mountain with four bikes. The Lector is the modern cross country hardtail, the Kato is the approachable entry hardtail, the Riot is the slack trail full suspension bike, and the E-Riot is the long travel e MTB. Ghost uses its SuperFit sizing, and the models fit quite differently, with the Lector running a long reach and the Kato staying short and upright. Choose by reach and height, and remember that sizing down feels more playful while sizing up feels more stable. See what is in stock on our Ghost collection.
Please note. These recommendations are indicative and a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Proportions, flexibility and terrain all matter, so read the reach and stack numbers with the height bands and confirm against the exact bike before you buy.

How to measure yourself
Height. Stand barefoot against a wall, heels together and back straight. Mark the top of your head and measure straight down to the floor.
Leg length (inseam). Barefoot, feet about 15 cm apart, press a hardback book spine up into your crotch as a saddle would sit. Measure from the top of the book to the floor. On a mountain bike your inseam helps with standover clearance and footing at a stop.

What Ghost riders find
Reviewers call the Lector a nimble XC hardtail with trail genes, where the long reach and dropper post make it feel more capable downhill than a typical race hardtail, and note it sizes true to the height chart. The Kato is praised as a benchmark value bike with a comfortable position for long tours, though its short reach means tall riders often prefer to size up. The Riot earns credit for balanced handling from its size specific chainstays, and the E-Riot is rated among the strongest current e MTBs for composed, fast descending.
Between two sizes?
At a size boundary let your riding decide. Size down for a shorter, more playful and flickable feel on tight, technical trails. Size up for a longer, more stable cockpit that stays calm at speed and on steep ground, and in particular size up on the short reaching Kato if you are tall. Comparing reach and stack with a bike you already ride is the surest guide.

Stack and reach figures are drawn from official Ghost data where possible. Rider height bands are indicative estimates; the Lector, Kato and Riot bands follow Ghost's guidance, while the E-Riot bands are estimated from its geometry as Ghost's per size chart could not be confirmed. Some Riot and Kato builds use a 27.5 inch wheel on the smallest size. Always confirm geometry against the exact bike and model year before buying.
