MTB
The road ends, the fun begins! Originating in California in the 1970s, the MTB is now a real trend. The Mountain Bike, often abbreviated to MTB, which stands for Mountain/Trials Bike or Mountain Trail Bike, is a bike designed to move outside the paved roads, both uphill and downhill; it differs from other types of bikes, thanks to the suspension and fitted with much wider and knobby tyres than a racing bike; MTBs ensure excellent performance and extreme reliability on all types of terrain, from dirt country roads, to steep mountain descents, from rocky climbs to the most difficult mountain trails. Modern MTBs fall into two main categories: Hardtail MTBs, also known as front bikes, have suspension only at the front and are "pure mountain machines". This type of MTB keeps you glued to the ground at all times and allows you to ride quickly and efficiently. Full Suspension MTBs, on the other hand, have both front and rear suspension. The presence of the double shock absorber makes it possible to better absorb stresses and shocks, maintain a high level of comfort even on very bumpy trails, guarantee greater performance on descents and the seat is more upright and less displaced towards the handlebars, offering greater comfort in the long term. Wheel sizes, suspension travel, geometry, equipment, weight and price vary depending on how the bike is used. But for that there is our BIKE-EXPERT! Choose the right MTB for you and get ready to ride on trails and adventurous routes.
