Time trial or triathlon bikes, also known as TT or chrono bikes, have been developed to allow cyclists to take a time trial race in the most aerodynamic position.

In order to do to, the saddle comes closer to the handlebar, which has two extensions that let the rider lean against them with his elbows and forearms, sliding into a lying position.
